This policy explains what TierOne Fantasy ("TierOne," "we") collects when you use tieronefantasy.com and how we use it. TierOne is for adults 18+ in the United States.

What we collect

• Account info: email address, password (stored hashed by our login provider; we never see it), username.
• Eligibility info: date of birth and state of residence, to confirm you're 18+ and eligible for the contest. If you win a prize, we may ask for your legal name, mailing address, PayPal email and tax information.
• Activity: lineups, entries, contest results and subscription status.
• Technical data: IP address, browser and device info, and cookies needed to keep you signed in.

How we use it

• Run your account, the tools and the weekly contest, including enforcing one account per person.
• Verify eligibility, pick and pay winners, and meet tax and legal requirements.
• Send account emails (sign-up confirmation, password resets, prize notices). These always send.
• Send weekly rankings, picks, contest reminders and offers, including messages that feature our sponsors, if you have them turned on. You can turn these off anytime in your Account page or with the unsubscribe link in any of these emails.
• Prevent fraud and abuse, and improve the site.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not give or rent our email list to other companies. Sponsors may pay to appear in our emails or on the site, but they never receive your contact details from us. We share data only with service providers that run TierOne for us (hosting, database and login, email delivery, and payments, for example Vercel, Supabase, Resend, PayPal and Stripe), when the law requires it, or as part of a sale or transfer of the TierOne business. Winners' usernames and scores may be shown on public leaderboards.

Cookies and ads

We use cookies that are needed to keep you signed in. If we add advertising or analytics partners, they may use their own cookies, and we will update this policy first.

Your choices

• Turn marketing emails on or off on your Account page.
• Ask us to see, correct or delete your data by emailing tieronefantasy@yahoo.com. We may keep records we're legally required to keep, such as prize and tax records.

Security and retention

Data is stored with our providers using encryption in transit and at rest, and access is limited. We keep account data while your account is open and delete or anonymize it after you ask us to close it, except records we must keep by law.
